In the collaborative research center PolyTarget, at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, polymer-based nanoparticulate carrier materials are being developed for the targeted application of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in the human body.

 The focus is on systems that are suitable for the therapy of diseases and syndromes whose morbidity is significantly characterized by an inflammatory response - currently also for combating the omnipresent Covid-19 virus.

PolyTarget uses a variety of Buchi pressure reactors for a wide range of syntheses and polymerizations, including Buchi autoclave types polyclave, picoclave, inertclave, bep 280.

Sustainable coal production in Buchi kiloclave type 3E

At the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Wädenswil the production of coal from biomass has been studying for almost a decade. The thermochemical process of hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) is used for this purpose.

Reach new dimensions in terms of pressure and temperature! This is our new high pressure and high temperature autoclave novoclave.

Have a look at this interesting publication: “A two-stage biological gas to liquid transfer process to convert carbon dioxide into bioplastic”. Our high-pressure reactor “ecoclave” has been used to conduct research of microbial gas fermentation to produce biomass and bioproducts for this study.
